The setting-out project in Reading featured on this page illustrates the kinds of challenges that arise when working in active, built-up environments. Careful coordination with site personnel, attention to access routes and awareness of nearby properties all play a part in planning the work. Our aim is always to apply precise control while keeping disruption to a minimum. The photographs convey some of the conditions on the ground, but behind them lies a structured approach to data management and checking. If you are managing a scheme in Reading or a similar urban area, we can help ensure that design information is transferred accurately to the site.
